LIFT – Ladies in Fellowship Together – is planning a service activity to support the Cuthbertson’s in Africa!
The women they minister to are in need of tote bags to carry everyday items. This project will help our missionaries meet practical needs and give them an opportunity to build relationships.
We are planning on 2 sewing dates to produce the bags. The bags will be taken to Africa later this Spring. The first date is January 21st from 1-4pm in room 305. The second date will be in February TBA.
We are asking that if you can sew, that you please bring your machine with you along with neutral colored thread. If you do not sew there are plenty of tasks available such as cutting out patterns and material, sewing on buttons, and ironing. We are in need of cotton-blend fabrics that are at least one yard in size.
If you cannot help on the project days but would like to be involved, please consider donating money for material and shipping.
This is a perfect opportunity to encourage a hard working missionary family, to enjoy a day of fellowship with other ladies, and to be a part of helping someone in the name of Jesus Christ!
