"There was a time I would have never considered attending a single's conference. While yes, I am a single, I did not feel there was necessarily anything I could learn that would change that fact. I just thought it would "happen" in due time. I was invited to attend the 2008 Conference at Bethel. It was a bit of a drive for me, but I came after I found out my Pastor from my college years would be one of the speakers. I wanted to hear and connect with him again. So, I came. Even perhaps for initially the wrong reasons. My mind had numerous preconceptions about this event. I assumed there would be numerous dating tips: what to look for, where to look, how to dress, etc. However, the moment I was handed my information packet...I knew it was different. The theme of the conference was "Looking Unto Jesus: Running Your Race with Patience". The conference was full of tips and advice on my thought life, managing my finances, de-cluttering my life, growing closer to the Lord, staying faithful in my devotional life, being patient, and literally hundreds of other aspects. I realized the quest for meeting the right one does not start outwardly, but inwardly. I learned not to spend all my time looking for the "right" one. I learned to be the right one and I will find the right one." Adam Haston

"Single's Conference at Bethel Baptist Church was like a week of true summer-- summer like it should be! There were all sorts of people who became fast friends, we had contests, played games, and in general, just had fun! Then we drunk thirstily from the wonderfully presented Bible truths that were presented! What spiritual encouragement I gained! And what fun I had! A true summer's experience!" Rachel Balint

"The Singles Conference has been a source of encouragement and motivation for me to keep on living for the Lord, whether I am single for one year or one hundred. It's also a great time to fellowship with the extended body of Christ as they seek the Lord in their lives. Praise God for what He has done and will do through this crucial event." Seth Olson
