2012 RULES

1. Only one car per racer is allowed.
2. The car is to be assembled using only the kit provided by us. Any
   prefabricated car or previous winners will be disqualified from winning.
3. Only the nail type axles are allowed for holding the wheels onto the car.
4. Your car kit has an instruction and rule sheet. Follow
   these rules as a general guideline.
5. Maximum car size may not exceed 7” length x 2-3/4” width x 6” high.
6. Minimum width between inside edge of wheels shall be 1-3/4”.
   Wheels cannot be free to move inward less than 1-3/4” in width.
7. All four stock wheels must contact a flat surface at the same time.
8. Minimum clearance between ground and car bottom shall be 3/8”.
9. All cars shall be weighed in on the same scale. Each car may not
   exceed 5.0 ounces in total weight.
10. No wheel bearings, bushings, washers, springs, starting
    devices, loose or moving weights or parts are allowed.
11. Custom parts such as driver, windshield, pipes, headers, roll
    bars, and other details are permissible, provided they do not
    cause the car to exceed the maximum width, length, height and weight.
12. No part of the car may start in front of the starting gate.
13. The nose of the car must contact the starting gate which is a
    vertical 1/4” rod.
14. Leave a 3/4” diameter space in the back of the car for a # sticker.
15. All decisions will be made final by the head judge.
